FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What is Jenny’s process?

For most of her pieces, Jenny sketches and finishes the linework on the computer. Next she prints the linework out on a grey or neutral toned cardstock. She uses markers, graphite, chalk, charcoal, and acrylic paint to render shadows and highlights, shading and texture. Then she colors it in photoshop.

What am I getting when I buy a piece of art from Jenny?

You are buying the original grey-toned rendered piece used to create the final color cover. Each piece is created with careful shading using grey-toned markers, graphite, chalk, charcoal, and sometimes acrylic paint. Most pieces are either 8.5x11 or 11x17 on grey or neutral toned cardstock. All pieces will detail the materials used and the size of the piece in the description. Some older pieces also include pencil linework on a separate white bristol for free.

Is there more available than just what’s listed in the shop?
